Mother's Day Means...

Being blessed to wake up to these two precious children every morning even if that means before the suns comes up. Nothing is better than seeing that first morning smile when they see me. I love seeing their smile and hearing their laugh. Everyday I learn something new in myself and my children and I treasure EVERY moment with them...yes even the crying and whining.
Mother's day also means to stop and take that extra moment to tell my mom, step mom, grandma, Jimmy's cousin Kathy, and my sisters that they are my heroes. Their wisdom, kindness, love and friendship are irreplaceable will always fill my heart with hope and love. Thank you!
I hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day weekend.

Ee is for...

Emilee experienced her first hair cut today after this picture of her was taken. My baby girl is growing up. Tomorrow she goes to the dentist for the first time. I have to say that I think these are the two cutest kids in the whole wide world. I am so blessed!

Dd is for... and an E for tomorrow.

Emilee made this vase at story time today and it worked perfectly for toady's photo. I still have to take a picture of Daddy and one other d item. I am thinking donuts or ducks but it will get done tomorrow. Daddy was sick today and we were pretty busy to find some ducks. Maybe we will head to the refuge or Hamilton duck pond tomorrow. I did get this shot of Ethan today though. He is such a ham. It was pretty gray and cold out today so we just went out for a couple minutes.

Milestone Monday!

Ethan got a new sippy in his Easter basket and tried it out with a little water and apple juice. At first he loved chewing on it but once he realized stuff could come out...GAME ON!!! It was pretty comical to watch because you could see the instant that it clicked for him.

The Babies

These two precious cuties are the youngest of the grand babies right now. I say right now because we will be adding another girl in August. Luke on the left is nine months and Ethan is 6.5 months. Luke is visiting us from California. This was the only picture we got with out a toy in their mouths. Luke is crawling all over and Ethan is trying to crawl. It is so much fun having these two together. They are quite possibly the cutest two babies in the world.

Little Bear and Mommy Day!

Little Bear and I went into Missoula While Em stayed home with her Daddy. It was nice getting out an doing some shopping and not being on any schedule. He was a great shopping partner and enjoyed his day. Once we got home we met daddy and Em at the park and Little Bear had an opportunity to get down in the grass for the first time. He very quickly went from sitting position to his belly so he could grab at the grass. He is going to enjoy the summer.

Texture!

I am still working with my photo shop and trying to merge photo layers. I have been pretty busy this week plus the nice weather makes it hard to sit in front of my computer and figure it out completely. I am still working on it but my time is up for today so this is what I have. The texture is from our new ceiling in our bedroom.

Squish Squash!

Little Bear turns 6 months tomorrow so today he had his first baby food meal. He has been eating cereal for 2 months now and he sure does love his food. The other day I thought he was going to attack me for the apple I was eating. He enjoyed his meal and ate all his squash.
He is not crawling yet but is trying very hard. He looks like he is trying to swim and then lays down. Too Cute! He will also rock on all fours and can push himself backwards a little bit. He still doesn't roll from his back to his belly so he gets stuck on his back which makes him mad. My dad calls him a turtle when he does it.

Smile to Melt your Heart!

This little guy can put a smile on my face any time. What a long and exhausting day it was here today. It started when both kids were awake at 5:15 and was just craziness all day. It is now 8:30 p.m. and both kids have the precious just bathed smell and are sound asleep. I am not far behind them. I love that his sock is half off; he is always pulling them off now.

Catchin up!

Here are my Monday munchkins. You can tell we are looking forward to warm weather. I can probably count on one hand the number of times Ethan has worn just a onesie while hanging out. I'm glad he did though because I love this one on him and was afraid he would outgrow it before it saw any sunlight.
Emilee has been outside playing everyday lately and loves it. She is getting pretty fast on her tricycle. It is warm but I am not sure it is Popsicle weather outside yet. At least it didn't melt before she was finished with it.
I didn't post a picture yesterday because we have been spending more time outdoors and then the kids and I went into town so Em could pick out her very own potty. I wish I would have took pictures of her picking it out. She had a hard time deciding between two and after testing them both decided on the one that sings and talks. What will they come up with next? It is working though and she loves to make it sing to her. So anyway, here is my photo from yesterday.

This is one of my surviving flowers from my bouquet from almost 2 weeks ago. I did have to discard the roses today but some of my lilies are hanging in there. I love them still.

My favorite photo subjects!

Today is my favorite day of the week to take pictures because I can never take enough pictures of these two kids. I am going to have to try to limit myself though because the other day when we were at the park my daughter said "mom, go put your camera back in the van." That was my cue to put it down and just play with her. Emilee loves to put make-up on. Bad habit I know but her she is putting "chaplips" on.
She also loves music and dancing. She was dancing in her room.
Em on the slide. I swear she could slide all day.
She put a little seat right in front of Ethan and just made him giggle for about an hour. She really loves her brother. She always wakes him up and when I tell her not to she goes "But he's my brother!" Frustrating at times but cute all the same.

My Ethanator is growing so fast. He will be 5 months tomorrow and is really becoming quite the character.
He is learning that he can control his tongue and make different noises.
He is really working hard to perfect his razz berries.
Ethan really loves his sister. She always puts a smile on his face unless she takes his toy.
Another thing he loves to do right now is bounce in his bouncy seat. He really gets both legs pumping and the seat really gets bouncing so it almost reaches the ground. It is too funny!

Daddy loves!

I just had to add this picture of Em and her artwork. It turned out really cute and Daddy thought it was extra special.
Today we went and picked up my husband from the airport. He has been in Canada for 2 weeks and we are very happy to have him home. This wasn't quite what I was going for. My daughter made a really cute picture and we wrote "I love Daddy" with glitter but the shots where she is holding it didn't really work. Ethan is really into grabbing anything within reach so it got a little crazy. I love this one even though there is a hard shadow behind them both. I am not quite sure how to fix that. Ethan has 3 bibs like this. "I love Daddy, Mommy, and Hugs." I love them but today this one he sported as we greeted my hubby off the plane.

Favorites!

Yesterday my sister-in-law had a baby boy and it got me thinking about my babies. I have also been going through drawers and packing away clothes that are too small and it makes me sad. This picture didn't quite turn out how I wanted it to. I was experimenting with cloning and got frustrated and ran out of time. I might work on it some more later or try another day. Anyway, this is the outfit that he wore home from the hospital and my favorite of his outfits still. The blue hat is the one that the hospital put on him before the brought him back to me. It is amazing how fast their little feet grow. I have kept some of my favorites of Emilee's as well and I plan to make a blanket using the pieces for them later although it will be sad to cut them up so I might just pack them away for them to have later.
